Unità B nasce dall’intenzione di realizzare un modulo abitativo destinato ad un camping di villeggiatura. Semplice e razionale, spazialmente replicabile e in costante dialogo con l’ambiente circostante, è definita da un volume contenente le funzioni abitative principali racchiuso da una “seconda pelle” in doghe di legno che, talvolta distaccandosi, dilatandosi e restringendosi, ne definisce le spazialità esterne e garantisce la privacy. Ogni ambiente è proiettato verso la natura con la quale interagisce e diventa tutt’uno, grazie allo “svuotamento” delle pareti a favore di ampie vetrate. Una scala esterna conduce al solarium ricavato sulla copertura piana.
B-unit was created by the intention of realizing a living unit intended for an holiday camping. Simple and rational, spatially repeatable and constantly in touch with its sorroundings, it is defined by a volume containing the main living functions, enclosed by a “second skin” made of wooden slats that, sometimes detaching, enlarging and shrinking, defines its external spatiality and ensure privacy. Each area is projected to nature with which it interacts and become a whole, thanks to the “emptying” of the walls in favor of large windows. An external stair leads to the upper solarium, formed on the terrace roof.
